Kat’s Top 20 Favourite Characters; No. 2 - Kovu (The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride) The original Lion King will always hold a special place in my childhood, but its sequel, Simba’s Pride, brought some new characters to the story, along with new components of the tale, and out of the new characters added, Kovu quickly became a favourite of mine. Outcast, molded into a warrior, bullied, mistaken, I can relate to him a hell of a lot. Especially with recent events. His love for Kiara is very strong, and I can also relate to that too, how he’d do anything for the one he loves, and in the end they get their happy ending. So because of these reasons, Kovu ranks number two in my list.
